The voting power is proportional to the amount of SGB tokens held by the voter. Additionally, SGB holders have the option to transfer their voting power to another account if they choose not to participate directly.
Another unique feature of Songbird is its FTSO (Federated Trust System Oracle) data provider system. The first Songbird proposal aims to reduce the vote cap per FTSO data provider from 10% to 2.5%. This change allows more FTSOs to compete for rewards and makes it harder for attackers to collude. The introduction of a secondary reward band further enhances the competition among data providers.
Overall, Songbird's governance process and FTSO system set it apart from other cryptocurrencies, offering transparency, community participation, and measures to strengthen security and prevent collusion.
