USD.AI (CHIP) is a permissionless lending protocol built to finance the AI infrastructure industry. The protocol employs a two-token model: USDai (a non-yield bearing stablecoin overcollateralized by PayPal PYUSD via M0 Protocol) and sUSDai (a yield-bearing token targeting 10-15% APR from GPU-backed loans plus T-Bill yields). CHIP is the governance token enabling holders to vote on protocol parameters, curator approvals, and USD.AI Improvement Proposals (UIPs).
