What is Wrapped Kaspa (wrapped token)?

Wrapped Kaspa is an ERC-20 token that represents native Kaspa on EVM-compatible chains, backed 1:1 by KAS held in reserve by custodian Chainge. It enables Kaspa holders to access Ethereum, BSC, and Polygon DeFi ecosystems while maintaining parity with the underlying asset.

Which blockchains host Wrapped Kaspa contracts?

Smart contracts for WKAS are deployed on Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and Polygon, each verifiable on their respective block explorers. The Ethereum and Polygon contracts use eight decimals, while the BSC contract reports no fixed decimal value.

How does the wrapping and unwrapping process work?

Users deposit native KAS with the custodian and receive an equivalent amount of WKAS on the destination chain; the reverse process burns WKAS and releases the locked KAS back to the user.
