Arcium deployed its encrypted computing network on Solana, moving from testnet to production infrastructure. Umbra became the first application on the platform—the protocol launched a private mainnet with secure transfers and anonymous swaps.
The Arcium network allows developers to create applications that remain private, yet verifiable and compatible with public blockchains.
Umbra implements incognito mode for moving assets. Access will be opened gradually: 100 users per week with a $500 deposit limit, with wider access and increased limits planned for February.
In October, Umbra raised nearly $155 million during an ICO through MetaDAO. Arcium previously raised $5.5 million in a strategic round led by Greenfield Capital, bringing total funding to $9 million. The project is founded by the team behind Elusiv, a zero-knowledge protocol on Solana.
