Cap-3 Details for Babylon Bitcoin Staking
Cap-3 introduces a duration-based staking cap with enhanced transaction limits and dynamic point allocation:
Duration
- Cap-3 lasts for 1,000 BTC blocks (approximately 1 week).
- All valid staking transactions during this period are accepted without a TVL cap.
- Exact block heights will be announced 3 days before the cap opens.
Transaction Limits
- Minimum per transaction: 0.005 BTC.
- Maximum per transaction: Increased from 500 BTC (Cap-2) to 5,000 BTC.
Unbonding Transaction Fee
- Fixed at 0.00032 BTC for stakes accepted during Cap-3.
Points Allocation Per BTC Block
Cap-3 introduces dynamic points per BTC block, distributed proportionally among active stakes:
- First 300 BTC blocks: 100,000 points per BTC block.
- Remaining 700 BTC blocks and beyond: 21,000 points per BTC block.
