How the Zama Auction Works

The Zama auction is a single-price, sealed-bid Dutch auction on Ethereum mainnet, using Zama technology to keep bids confidential. It runs across four phases:

Phase 1 - Shield Stablecoins

• When: Anytime after mainnet launches

Phase 2 - Place Your Bids

You have four days to place bids. Each bid includes:

• Your chosen price
• The quantity of $ZAMA you want to buy

Phase 3 - Clearing Price and Allocation

• Bids are filled from highest price to lowest
• The clearing price is the lowest price at which a bid is filled
• All winning bidders pay the same clearing price

Phase 4 - Claim Your Tokens

Participants can claim:

• $ZAMA tokens as standard ERC-20
• Refunds as ERC-20 or confidential ERC-7984
