About DeBank

Does DeBank have an official crypto token yet?

No — DeBank hasn’t launched an official token. What exists is a points system called XP, introduced in May 2024. Many speculate XP may convert into a token later, perhaps through an airdrop, but the team hasn’t confirmed supply, allocation, or a launch date.

How does the XP points system work?

XP was distributed starting May 2024 to users active on-chain as of the July 4, 2024 snapshot, with around 51 million points initially given out. You could also earn XP through referrals and quests. These points trade pre-market on Gate.io against USDT, though they’re not actual tokens yet.

What about tokenomics and supply plans?

Worth noting: no tokenomics have been released. That means no announced maximum supply, no allocation chart, and no vesting timeline. If DeBank eventually launches a coin, standard categories like team, investors, and ecosystem/community rewards would likely apply.

Are there any token unlocks or vesting schedules?

None. Because there’s no official token, there’s no vesting or unlock plan. XP is simply a points system with immediate distribution. If a token materializes, you can expect lockups for the team and staged releases for ecosystem incentives — but nothing official so far.

Who invested in DeBank?

DeBank raised $25M in a venture round on Dec 28, 2021. HongShan (ex-Sequoia China) led the round as a Tier 1 investor. Other backers included Coinbase Ventures, Dragonfly Capital, IOSG Ventures, Crypto.com, Circle Ventures, LongHash Ventures, Youbi Capital, and Ledger Capital. This institutional mix places DeBank among well-capitalized DeFi infrastructure projects.

Can you trade DeBank XP or tokens on exchanges?

Currently only pre-market XP/USDT trading exists on Gate.io. No centralized or decentralized exchanges list an official DeBank token because none exists yet. If and when a token launches, listings on major CEXs are likely given the project’s scale and investor backing.

What activities has DeBank run tied to XP?

The 2024 XP campaign began in May and is still active. Users could claim XP based on their on-chain assets as of the July 4, 2024 snapshot. Additional XP can be earned through referrals and quests. Alongside XP, DeBank introduced badges for Web3 IDs, airdrop hunting, and Rabby Wallet users.

What is DeBank Chain?

DeBank Chain is a Layer 2 testnet launched in September 2024, built on OP Stack. It promises 100–400x cheaper gas and focuses on social use cases. A mainnet is planned, along with features like gasless transactions via account abstraction and Genesis NFTs tied to Rabby Wallet.

What role does DeBank play in the crypto ecosystem?

At its core, DeBank is a DeFi portfolio tracker supporting 800+ protocols across 15+ blockchains. Over time it’s added social streams, Web3 IDs, and a messenger. The next phase is DeBank Chain — positioned as a “social asset layer” bridging portfolio, identity, and interaction.

What risks should users be aware of?

There are a few: no confirmed token means XP speculation carries risk. Technical challenges exist in scaling DeBank Chain’s promised efficiency. Regulatory pressure could also grow as DeBank expands from tracking into infra. Finally, competition is fierce — rivals like Zapper and Zerion are well funded too.

So why does DeBank matter in crypto?

It’s one of the rare projects blending portfolio analytics, social identity, and now its own Layer 2 chain. That mix could give its future coin real utility. But until the team clarifies tokenomics and launch details, XP remains speculation rather than a guaranteed path to airdrops or liquidity.
