What is World Liberty Financial (WLFI)?

It's essentially a governance token for a DeFi protocol built to pull traditional Web2 users into Web3. Initially, it ran on an Aave v3 integration before pivoting to World Liberty Markets via Dolomite to handle on-chain lending. The token itself is hardcapped at 100 billion, with about 28.76 billion floating out there right now. Here is the deal: holding WLFI just gives you a vote. How does the protocol governance actually work?

The whole point of the token is to let holders vote on major protocol upgrades, fee tweaks, and treasury spending. They do this off-chain using Snapshot signatures to save on gas.
