Flash Protocol is a decentralized protocol that allows users to issue Taproot Assets and Taproot NFTs in Bitcoin. FlashVM, a computing engine built on Flash Chain, is designed to implement smart contract-like functionality for Bitcoin. With the release of Taproot Assets from Lightning, the Flash protocol allows for the issuance and trading of native Bitcoin assets on the Bitcoin blockchain while ensuring the main network runs smoothly without congestion. FlashVM, on the other hand, powers BTCFi features such as staking, swaps, and lending of Bitcoin's own assets.
