About MemeCore (M)

What’s the big idea behind MemeCore (M)?

It’s trying to turn memes into something that lasts — a real on-chain economy instead of passing jokes. MemeCore is a Layer 1 blockchain where culture and value blend. Using its own Proof of Meme (PoM) consensus, it rewards users for creating and circulating memes that gain traction. It’s a strange mix of community energy and crypto economics — but that’s kind of the point.

How does this Proof of Meme thing actually function?

Validators aren’t miners here; they’re meme curators in a way. The system rotates validator roles every few blocks, with big stakers locking 7 million M tokens to join. Rewards go mostly to stakers and meme holders. It’s designed to reward participation and virality, not just raw computing power — a subtle but important shift from traditional consensus models.

What are the tokenomics of M?

There’s a 10 billion M supply cap, with 5 billion already live. The community gets the lion’s share at 58%, then 15% goes to the foundation, 13% to contributors, 12% to investors, and 2% to the treasury. The token pays for gas, staking, and governance. MemeCore even burns part of its fees — small, but steady — to tighten supply as the network grows.

Is there any info on vesting or unlocks?

Not much has been shared publicly. The team says allocations for the foundation and investors are long-term, favoring gradual growth. A fun twist is the MRC-20 Reserve, which takes 5% of every new meme token’s supply and pays it out over 1,000 days to M and meme stakers. It’s a slow drip rather than a cliff release.

Who funded MemeCore early on?

Two Strategic RoundsMarch 14 and July 11, 2025 — with no public numbers. Investors include Waterdrip Capital, CatcherVC, IBC Ventures, and Klein Labs, all venture firms. Waterdrip’s tagged as Tier 3, the rest unrated. Modest backing, but it gave the project enough legitimacy to push ahead before its big exchange debut.

Where can people trade M tokens?

It’s already live on Binance Alpha, Kraken, Bitget, BingX, HTX, and Hashkey, mostly in M/USDT pairs. On the DeFi side, it’s available through PancakeSwap and Uniswap (BSC). Futures traders can find M on Binance, Bybit, and KuCoin Futures. For a meme coin, that’s solid liquidity across both CEX and DEX worlds.

Did MemeCore run any airdrops or campaigns?

Yes, and they were wild. The first MemeX Liquidity Festival gave out $700K in M to top “Yappers,” using a Proof of 💩 verification just to keep it human. Then in August 2025, another $5.7 million event lit up the chain again. You could say MemeCore made its own marketing art form — part stunt, part social experiment.

What’s next in the roadmap?

Next steps focus on finishing the PoM upgrade, expanding MemeX, and launching the full Memechellin Guide app. They’re also teaming up with Neo Blockchain for cross-chain tools and creator-economy utilities. Basically, the plan is to move from meme hype to meme infrastructure — one phase at a time.

What should holders watch out for?

Centralized validators and uneven liquidity are real concerns. Regulatory risks in Korea add another layer. And meme cycles are ruthless — attention comes fast and leaves faster. Still, MemeCore’s betting that culture itself can be tokenized. If it works, it could redefine how value travels in crypto; if not, it’ll be one of the boldest experiments yet.
