Earn Points

1. Trading

Season 1 rewards traders who bring genuine, sustained activity to Nado — including market making and liquidations, not just raw volume.

Your share of each weekly points pool scales with the amount of activity you contribute during each weekly epoch.

2. NLP Participation

Points are allocated based on your average proportional share of the NLP vault during each weekly epoch.

NLP underpins liquidity across Nado’s orderbook, and Season 1 rewards users who help strengthen the system.

3. Referrals

Referral points are earned only when referred users actively trade, aligning incentives toward real usage rather than passive sign-ups.

Referral performance is trackable via the Referrals page.

Weekly Distribution

• 950,000 points per week
• Distributed every Friday
• Allocated across:
  • Trading
  • NLP participation
  • Referrals

Bonus Points

In addition to weekly distributions, up to 8,000,000 bonus points may be allocated during Season 1.
These sit outside standard weekly emissions and support specific ecosystem initiatives.

1. Builder Program — 3,000,000 Points

A dedicated pool reserved for builders building on top of Nado.

• Unused builder points will be excluded from Season 1 distribution
• More details on the Builder Program and Builder Codes will be shared soon

2. Trading Competitions — 4,000,000 Points

Nado will host trading competitions during Season 1.

• Full rules, eligibility, and prize structures will be announced separately

3. Reserve — 1,000,000 Points

A discretionary reserve pool allocated by the team to support Season 1 initiatives.

• Unused reserve points will be excluded from Season 1 distribution
• A full breakdown of reserve usage will be published at season end

Trader Tiers

Season 1 introduces Trading Tiers — a weekly classification based on your points ranking.

• Tiers range from Breeze (lowest) to Tornado (highest)
• Acts as a persistent signal of your activity on Nado
• Updated weekly, similar to collecting gym badges in Pokémon

Trading tiers will also influence future NLP participation.

Templars of the Storm — Nado NFT

The Nado NFT was introduced during The Choice and offered to the top 30% of users by points, first-come, first-served.

Collection details:

• 1,200 NFTs total
  • 1,000 allocated to users during The Choice
  • 150 reserved for future distribution
  • 50 reserved for team members

NFTs were distributed on January 29 and can be held or traded on OpenSea.

NFT Utility

Points Multiplier

Each NFT includes a three-tier points multiplier based on its Wind Force trait:

• Wind Force 1 → Lowest multiplier
• Wind Force 3 → Highest multiplier

Rules:

• Applies only to the wallet holding the NFT
• Time-weighted within each weekly epoch
• Multipliers do not stack

Fee Tiers

NFT holders receive an automatic fee tier, also determined by Wind Force.

The Nado NFT represents a long-term identity layer within the ecosystem.
Additional lore, utility, and PFP reveals will roll out progressively during Season 1.

Referrals

Referrals are a core pillar of Season 1. Nado is invite-only, and all users must join with a valid invite code.

Key mechanics:

• Referrers earn a share of points generated by their referral network
• Rewards extend to second- and third-level referrals
• Invite codes are earned at a rate of:
  • 1 invite per $250,000 trading volume
  • Maximum 100 invites per user
