About RWUSD (RWUSD)

What is RWUSD on Binance Earn?

RWUSD is a yield-bearing subscription product on Binance Earn that pays rewards daily in RWUSD units. Users subscribe with eligible stablecoins at a 1:1 ratio, and each RWUSD represents $1 of subscribed assets plus accrued rewards. Binance launched RWUSD on July 28, 2025. The yield draws on Binance ecosystem income and tokenized real-world asset strategies, including US Treasury products managed by BlackRock, Circle, and Franklin Templeton.

How does RWUSD subscription and redemption work?

RWUSD works through a subscribe-and-redeem cycle on Binance Earn. A user subscribes eligible stablecoins at a 1:1 ratio, and rewards accrue daily in RWUSD based on the lowest balance across daily snapshots. Distribution happens by 10:00 UTC each day. Redemption converts RWUSD back into stablecoins at 1:1, subject to daily quotas that reset at 00:00 UTC. Standard and Fast redemption channels are available.

Where does RWUSD yield come from?

RWUSD yield comes from Binance ecosystem income and real-world asset strategies, including tokenized US Treasury products managed by BlackRock, Circle, and Franklin Templeton. Binance distributes the resulting return as daily RWUSD rewards. BlackRock, Circle, and Franklin Templeton act as strategy providers for the underlying Treasury instruments.

Does RWUSD pay a fixed APR?

The APR on RWUSD is variable, set at Binance's discretion and benchmarked against prevailing institutional yields. RWUSD launched on July 28, 2025 with an introductory APR of up to 4.2%, applied as a flat rate across all deposit tiers. The rate has moved with market conditions since launch, and the current figure appears on the Binance Earn product page.

Is RWUSD a stablecoin?

Binance's own product documentation states that RWUSD is not a stablecoin, a security, a fund, a tokenized real-world asset, or an on-chain asset. The dollar value is nonetheless designed to hold at 1:1, because each unit records $1 of subscribed stablecoins plus accrued rewards. The difference from USDT is custody: RWUSD exists only as a Binance account record, while stablecoins circulate on-chain.

Can RWUSD be redeemed on-chain or transferred between users?

RWUSD cannot be withdrawn on-chain or transferred between users. Binance documents RWUSD as a record of subscribed assets and accrued rewards held with Binance only. No on-chain contract and no block explorer exist for RWUSD, which confirms the instrument's status as a platform account record.

Does RWUSD have a maximum supply or vesting schedule?

RWUSD has no fixed maximum supply and no vesting schedule. Supply expands with new subscriptions and contracts with redemptions, since each unit represents $1 of subscribed stablecoins plus rewards. No investor allocations or team lockups exist, because Binance issues RWUSD internally. DropsTab tracks the live supply figure on the RWUSD page.

Where is RWUSD traded?

RWUSD trades on a single spot market: the Binance RWUSD/USDT pair, which went live on October 13, 2026. No DEX pairs, derivatives, or on-chain liquidity pools exist for RWUSD. Per DropsTab data, Binance is the only venue with an RWUSD market, so secondary-market liquidity depends entirely on Binance. The primary channel remains the Earn subscribe-and-redeem mechanism at 1:1, not the open market. Before the listing, Binance's own FAQ described RWUSD as non-tradable on spot markets.

What are the risks of RWUSD?

The primary RWUSD risk is counterparty exposure: the entire balance is an obligation of Binance, and Binance's own FAQ acknowledges this. Redemption may be delayed, restricted, or suspended in extreme market conditions. Holders give up self-custody, because RWUSD is an account record rather than an on-chain asset. Access is also restricted by jurisdiction: US persons cannot use the product.

Who can subscribe to RWUSD and what can the balance be used for?

Qualified global users can subscribe to RWUSD. US persons are excluded, and EEA users subscribe through USDC. Beyond daily yield, an RWUSD balance serves as collateral for VIP Loans, Margin Trading, and Futures margin, and counts toward Binance's VIP Investor Program.
