How to participate

Add Zora Network to Your Wallet

 

If you use one of the following wallets, you will not need to manually add Zora Network as it is natively supported:

 

  • Coinbase Wallet
  • Rainbow Wallet
  • Zerion Wallet

 

How to Add Zora Network to MetaMask

 

  1. Open the MetaMask desktop extension.
  2. Click "Ethereum Mainnet" at the top and select "Add Network". This will open a new window.
  3. Click "Add a new network manually" at the bottom.
  4. Enter the following details for Zora Network:

 

 

Once saved, you can submit transactions on the Zora Network.

 

Bridge to Zora

 

  1. Navigate to the native bridge at bridge.zora.energy.

  2. Connect your wallet by selecting "Connect" in the upper right corner.

  3. Choose from one of the following bridging options:

    Note: You can use any other bridge of your choice.

  4. Select the network you want to bridge from (e.g., Mainnet ETH or other L2 Networks like Base, Optimism, etc.).

  5. Enter the amount you wish to deposit to Zora Network.

  6. Select "Deposit" and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

 

Please note that it may take ~3-5 minutes for the ETH to show up in your Zora Network balance.

 

Connect Wallet to Zora

 

  1. Click "Connect" at the upper right corner of the Zora main page.
  2. Select "Connect Wallet".
  3. Follow the instructions in your wallet.
  4. Your wallet will prompt you to "Sign" a signature request to verify ownership and secure your account.

 

Set Up Your Zora Profile

 

  1. Add a profile picture. File size limit: 2 MB.
  2. Choose your Zora username (unique identifier):
    • Minimum 3 characters
    • Maximum 38 characters
    • No special characters, spaces, or symbols
  3. Enter your display name (can be your username, a pseudonym, or your real name).
  4. Add a bio (max 250 characters).
  5. Toggle your notification settings.
  6. Connect your socials.
  7. Select "Finish" to complete your profile setup.

 

Create a Post on Zora

 

To create a new collection:

 

  1. Select the "+" icon in the top right corner.
  2. Fill out the create form to set up your new collection.

 

Collect NFTs on Zora

 

Zora supports payments using any supported ERC-20 token. You can use ETH from any network to complete transactions.

 

Zora is available on the following L2 networks:

 

  • Zora Network
  • Optimism Network
  • Base
  • Arbitrum One
  • Blast

 

How to Pay with ETH and Collect ERC-20 Mint

 

  1. Visit the mint page of the NFT you want to collect.
  2. Click "Mint".
  3. Choose your preferred payment method (default is the payment token requested by the creator).
    Note: Using ETH on the same network as the NFT token will save additional fees.
  4. Review the transaction details and confirm the transaction by signing it.

 

Zora Secondary Market

 

When posts on Zora.co finish their mint period, a secondary market powered by Uniswap begins. The post will be available in one of two stages:

 

  • MINT: Open until 1111 mints are completed. Minting costs ✧111 Sparks (0.000111 ETH).
  • MARKET: After reaching 1111 mints, the price starts at ✧111 Sparks (0.000111 ETH) and fluctuates based on buy-and-sell activity.

 

How to Buy on Zora Secondary Market

 

  1. If the post is still in the mint phase, you will see "Mint" instead of "Buy".
  2. Click the "Buy" tab.
  3. Enter the number of tokens you want to buy.
  4. Review the price (in Sparks and USD).
  5. Click "Buy" and confirm the wallet transaction.

 

How to Sell on Zora Secondary Market

 

  1. Click the "Sell" tab.
  2. Enter the number of tokens you want to sell (or click "Max" to sell all).
  3. Review the price (in Sparks and USD).
  4. Click "Sell" and confirm the transaction.
