Cómo participar

Follow these steps to successfully download the Unisat Wallet, add Bitcoin, mint BRC-20 tokens, and claim a .sats name.

 

Step 1: Download the Unisat Wallet

  1. Go to the Unisat.io website.
  2. Click on the "Download Chrome Extension" button.
  3. In the Chrome Web Store, click on "Add to Chrome."
  4. Click the "Add extension" button when prompted by Chrome.
  5. Wait for the Unisat Wallet's main page to appear.
 

Step 2: Set Up Your New Wallet

  1. Click on "Create new wallet."
  2. Set a secure password for your wallet.
  3. Write down your recovery phrase. This is crucial for fund recovery.
  4. Check the box confirming that you saved the recovery phrase.
  5. Click "Continue."
  6. Select the "Taproot Address Type" when prompted.
  7. Check the two checkboxes, click "OK," and your wallet is ready!
 

Step 3: Top Up Your Wallet with Bitcoin

  1. Copy your BTC wallet address from the Unisat Wallet.
  2. Go to a centralized exchange of your choice, OKX is recommended for its low BTC withdrawal fees.
  3. In the Withdrawal Window of the exchange, choose BTC.
  4. Ensure the withdrawal method is set to "On-Chain."
  5. Paste your copied BTC wallet address.
  6. Enter the amount of BTC you wish to withdraw.
  7. Click "Next" and confirm the transaction.
 

Once the Bitcoin is deposited into your wallet, you can move to the next step.

 

Step 4: Connect Wallet and Mint BRC-20 Tokens

  1. Go back to Unisat.io.
  2. Connect your wallet by selecting "Unisat" from the options.
  3. Sign the authentication message in the pop-up window.
  4. Navigate to the "BRC-20" category.
  5. Click on "In-progress" and choose a BRC-20 token to mint.
  6. Click on "Mint Directly" and select the number of tokens you want.
  7. Check the gas fees carefully and select your preferred option.
  8. Fill in your wallet address and choose "Pay with Wallet."
  9. In the pop-up window, check the network fees and click "Sign and Pay."
 

After successful payment, refresh your wallet to see the new BRC-20 token. It may take time to fully confirm on the blockchain.

 

Step 5: Claim a .sats Name

  1. Go to the "Inscribe" section on the Unisat website.
  2. Click on the "Names" category, then choose ".sats."
  3. Type in your preferred name and proceed.
  4. Double-check your name, then click "Next."
  5. Repeat the minting process as with the BRC-20 token: Check gas fees, paste your wallet address, and proceed to payment.
  6. Choose "Pay with Wallet" and sign the transaction in the pop-up.
 

After refreshing your wallet, you will see your new .sats token, updated after blockchain confirmation.

 

Following these steps will help you successfully set up the Unisat Wallet, top it up with Bitcoin, mint BRC-20 tokens, and claim your .sats name!
