How to Mint a Node Token

1. Visit the Node Sale page.
   Note: Use the exclusive Dropstab link to get a 5% discount!
2. Connect your wallet.
3. Press “Mint Node Token.”
4. Select your preferences: chain, amount, and referral code.
5. Approve and confirm the mint in your wallet.

Node Sale Details

• Mint Date:

  • Week 1 (17th – 24th December):
    Node Tokens are available for $1,250 each.
  • After Week 1:
    Price increases to $3,750 per Node Token.

• Mint Fee:

  • Week 1: Payable in USDC, BEAM, ETH, or AVAX, fixed to $1,250 in value (price snapshot taken 24 hours before mint starts).
  • After Week 1: Payable only in BEAM, fixed to $3,750 in value (snapshot taken at the end of Week 1).

• Supported Chains for Minting:

  • Week 1: Beam Network, Ethereum Mainnet, Avalanche, Arbitrum One, and Base.
  • After Week 1 until Horizon Upgrade: Beam Network and Ethereum Mainnet.
  • Post-Horizon Upgrade: Beam Network only.

• Flow of Mint Fees:

  • If minted with BEAM: Tokens are autonomously burned.
  • If minted with ETH/USDC/AVAX: Funds flow to a smart contract that autonomously buys and burns BEAM.

• Secondary Sale Fee:

  • 7.5% fee applied to each sale, autonomously enforced by the smart contract.

• Node Token Supply: Unlimited.

• Time Limit for Minting: None.

Options for Running a Node

1. Run it Yourself

   • Requires setting up your own hardware or using a cloud-based infrastructure.
   • Estimated Costs:
     • Approximately 1.33 $AVAX/month for operational expenses.
     • Additional hardware expenses based on your setup.

2. Delegate it to a Validator

   • Simplifies the process by allowing a validator to manage the node on your behalf.
   • No need to handle hardware or ongoing maintenance directly.

Node Operation Requirements

• To run a Beam Node, a validator must stake:

  • At least 1 Node Token.
  • 20,000 BEAM.

• Maximum staking per Beam Node:

  • 50 million BEAM.
  • 1,000 Node Tokens.
