1. Content Schedule

 

Alpha Season 4 will run for ten weeks and feature over 100 unique experiences. New experiences will be released progressively throughout the season, with each day featuring one or more new experiences.

 

2. Alpha Hub

 

The Alpha Hub will open on the first day and remain available for the full season. Certain NFT passes unlock gated areas in the Alpha Hub where players can claim rewards. Explore thoroughly to get the most out of it.

 

3. Battle Pass

 

Your progress in Alpha Season 4 is tracked in the Battle Pass, which contains 30 levels. Completing each level unlocks rewards like SAND and NFTs.

• 15 levels offer free rewards for all players.
• 15 levels offer exclusive rewards for Alpha Pass holders. The Battle Pass can be accessed through the game client and the web dashboard.

 

4. Alpha Pass

 

Unlock additional rewards by obtaining an Alpha Pass:

• Alpha Pass holders can earn 10 Partner Pass NFTs, access gated areas, and complete special quests to earn up to 13x more SAND than non-holders.
• Ways to get an Alpha Pass:
  • Buy One: Available in The Sandbox Marketplace for 25 SAND (one per player).
  • Win One: Weekly Leaderboard Raffles where each Ethos Point (EP) counts as a raffle entry.
  • Social Giveaways: Follow The Sandbox on social media for giveaway opportunities.

 

5. Earning Ethos Points (EP)

 

Ethos Points (EP) allow you to level up your Battle Pass and earn rewards. You can gain EP by completing quests across the season's experiences, with three types of quests:

• Normal Quests (Yellow “!”): 1–5 EP
• Hardcore Quests (Purple “!”): 15 EP
• Adventure Quests (Blue “!”): 20 EP

 

6. Bonus Ethos Points

 

Earn bonus EP through additional methods beyond quests.

 

Daily Challenges

 

Complete two daily challenges to gain bonus EP:

• Experience of the Day: Complete the new experience released daily for 15 EP (10 EP for multiple releases).
• Social Challenge: Post a screenshot of your avatar in the Experience of the Day on X for 25 EP.

 

Refer Friends

 

Invite friends to join Alpha Season 4 and earn 50 EP for each friend who reaches Level 1, up to a maximum of 500 EP.

 

Owning an Avatar

 

Earn passive EP based on the rarest avatar in your wallet. For example:

• Epic Avatar: 75 EP per week
• Legendary Avatar: 160 EP per week

 

Premium Quests

 

Access Premium Areas using Partner Keys or Category Keys to complete special quests for extra EP:

• Partner Keys: Unlock premium areas for a specific partner (e.g., Ubisoft).
• Category Keys: Unlock premium areas for experiences in categories like Music, Gaming, and Sports.

 

7. Season Rewards

 

SAND Reward Breakdown

 

Alpha Season 4 features over $2.5 million USD worth of SAND rewards:

• 25 SAND for all players in the Battle Pass.
• 300 SAND for Alpha Pass holders.
• 80 SAND for LAND owners.

 

Additionally, a Final Raffle will reward 500 winners with 1,000 SAND each, based on leaderboard rank (total EP earned).

 

NFTs Reward Breakdown

 

Space Helmets

 

• Gold Space Helmet: Available to players who pre-register.
• White Space Helmet: Available to all players who log in during the season.

 

Battle Pass NFTs

 

• 10 NFTs for all players, 10 exclusive for Alpha Pass holders, including wearables and equipment.

 

Adventure Quest NFTs

 

Complete Adventure Quests to earn branded NFTs that can be used in-game.

 

Marketplace NFTs

 

Partner NFTs from 40 collections will be released during Alpha Season 4. Purchase them on the day their associated experience goes live in The Sandbox Marketplace.

 

8. LAND Owner Rewards

 

LAND owners can earn rewards based on the community’s collective EP. Reaching milestones will unlock access to LAND Owner Hub Pass NFTs, which grant access to rooms in the Alpha Hub where owners can claim SAND Chests (up to 80 SAND).
