About Stable (STABLE)

So what exactly is Stable (STABLE)?

Stable is a Layer 1 built around one idea: USDT should be the thing you actually use to pay fees. No juggling a separate gas coin, no volatility surprises. STABLE, ironically, isn’t for payments at all—it’s the governance and coordination token that keeps the network running. It feels more like infrastructure glue than a “spend me” asset.

How does the STABLE token fit into the picture?

The supply is fixed at 100 billion tokens, and there’s no inflation planned. That’s unusual for a new chain, but it keeps dilution pressure off. Validators stake STABLE, earn USDT fees, and help secure the network under StableBFT. A quick take: USDT is the fuel, STABLE decides who drives the engine.

How are the tokens actually allocated?

It’s split in four buckets—10% for genesis (airdrop, liquidity, partners), 40% for long-term ecosystem work, then 25% each to the team and early investors/advisors. A bit top-heavy, maybe, but fairly typical for infra-heavy projects. Only some tokens move on day one; most follow vesting.

What’s the vesting rhythm?

Genesis tokens unlocked instantly at launch. Team and investor allocations sit behind a one-year cliff, then vest monthly for four years. Ecosystem tokens mix a small upfront release with a multi-year drip. The idea is to avoid big supply shocks while still giving the network something to work with early on.

Who funded Stable, and in which rounds?

There were several raises in 2025. The best-known is the $28M seed round in July, led by Hack VC with eGirl, Nascent, Mirana, Franklin Templeton, SIG, Bybit, and Paolo Ardoino participating. Before that came a June Strategic Round with Bitfinex taking the lead, plus two Funding Rounds in June and September that brought in PayPal Ventures and others—amounts undisclosed, which happens more often than people admit.

Did Stable run an ICO or something similar?

Not in the classic sense. Instead, it leaned on pre-deposit campaigns that issued on-chain receipts, which later fed into the airdrop. Testnet contributors and users who moved receipts into DeFi integrations also earned allocations. The claim window runs into early 2026; there’s no rush, no early-claimer advantage.

Where can the STABLE token be traded today?

It’s live on several major exchanges—KuCoin, Bybit, MEXC, Gate, Bitget, HTX, and Crypto.com. Most liquidity sits in STABLE/USDT pairs, though STABLE/USDC and even STABLE/USD exist if you prefer something closer to fiat quoting. The spread is wide enough that you don’t need to hunt for niche venues.

Which pairs actually matter for volume?

The usual suspects: STABLE/USDT on KuCoin, Bybit, MEXC, Gate, and Bitget. Those pairs update the fastest and hold most activity. The others are nice to have but not where the heartbeat is.

What are the main risks here?

It’s an early network, and early networks always carry unknowns. Validator stability, bridge design, upgrade cadence—these things take time to prove out. And stablecoin regulation keeps shifting, sometimes abruptly. One more thing: STABLE’s value depends on real USDT payment growth; if usage stays flat, staking rewards (in usd terms) soften too.
