What is Inco Network (INCO)?
Inco Network is a modular blockchain built to keep information private while using decentralized apps. It uses a smart encryption method called Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) and works with the Ethereum blockchain and others. Inco makes sure people can do things privately on-chain without giving up how apps work together.
The project raised $9.50 million with help from a16z and Coinbase Ventures. In the future, users will be able to use the Inco Token (INCO) for payments and activities on the platform.
Key Features of Inco Network
Modular Confidential Computing
Inco Network combines different privacy tools like FHE, Trusted Execution Environments (TEE), and Multi-Party Computation (MPC). These tools protect the data while keeping apps fast and easy to use.
The Inco Lightning product helps apps stay quick and private by using TEEs. Inco Atlas focuses on keeping sensitive information private by using FHE and MPC.
Confidential ERC-20 Framework
Inco Network partnered with OpenZeppelin and Zama to build a standard called the Confidential ERC-20 Framework. This makes it easier for developers to create private tokens. These tokens are useful for games, finance apps, voting systems, and identity management.
Confidential Composability and Access Control
Inco lets encrypted data change safely and smoothly across different apps. With programmable access control, developers can decide who gets to see the private information based on set rules.
Why Inco Network is Important
Inco Network solves a serious blockchain problem: how to keep data private in public systems. Inco Network helps people to use apps for private voting, hidden markets, safe DeFi activities, and protected identity checks.
With groups like the Confidential Token Association and tools like hidden on-chain randomness, Inco Network brings privacy into Web3.
Related Tools and Partners
- Inco Lightning: Fast confidentiality with TEEs.
- Inco Atlas: Strong privacy with FHE and MPC.
- Confidential Token Association: Created with OpenZeppelin and Zama.
- Investors: Supported by a16z Crypto, Coinbase Ventures, and 1kx Capital.
Looking Ahead
Inco Network plans to grow by helping developers build private apps more easily using familiar coding tools like Solidity. Its focus on privacy and flexibility could make it an important building block for future Web3 applications.
