1. Get Testnet $EDU

 

To start, you’ll need testnet $EDU tokens. Visit a faucet and request your tokens. Here are a few options to get you started:

• DRPC Open Campus Faucet

 

2. Earning Points on the EDU Chain Testnet

 

You can accumulate testnet points by interacting with EDU Chain’s dApps, allowing you to earn rewards for engaging with the network. Points are earned through two key activities:

 

• Making on-chain transactions
• Holding unique ERC20 tokens

 

Time-Based Multiplier

 

A points multiplier is awarded based on how early your first transaction occurs. Here’s a breakdown of the time-based multiplier:

 

• Week 1 (Sep 25 - Oct 1) - 2x
• Week 2 (Oct 2 - Oct 8) - 1.75x
• Week 3 (Oct 9 - Oct 15) - 1.5x
• Week 4 (Oct 16 - Oct 22) - 1.25x

 

DApps Multiplier

 

Points earned by users can be multiplied depending on the category of the dApp they interact with:

 

• Priority dApps: 2x multiplier for engaging with incubator and hackathon winning dApps.
• Honorable Mentions: 1.5x multiplier for engaging with standout hackathon dApps that didn’t place.
• Base dApps: 1x multiplier for all other dApps.

3. Points Tracking

 

To track your activity throughout the campaign, you can use EDU Chain’s block explorer to monitor your testnet token holdings and transaction activity.
