Про BLUSD

Boosted LUSD (bLUSD) is an ERC20 token that is obtained when a user participates in the Chicken Bonds protocol by "Chickening In". It is generated by giving up bonded LUSD in exchange for accrued bLUSD. bLUSD is backed by the funds in the Reserve bucket and can always be redeemed for a proportional share of the Reserve. It earns a higher yield compared to regular LUSD due to the yield inflow generated by all the buckets in the system. The gains from yield are automatically compounded back into more LUSD, increasing the value of bLUSD over time.

What makes Boosted LUSD unique?

Boosted LUSD, also known as bLUSD, is a unique cryptocurrency because it is obtained through a novel bonding mechanism called Chicken Bonds, which is first applied to Liquity's LUSD. There are several features that make Boosted LUSD unique:
