Mirrored Ether (mETH) is a synthetic asset created by the Mirror DeFi protocol. It is designed to track the price of Ether (ETH), the native cryptocurrency of the Ethereum network. By holding mETH, traders can gain price exposure to ETH without actually owning the underlying asset. The value of mETH is tied to the price of ETH and can be easily transferred between the Mirror protocol and the Ethereum network through the interchain Shuttle bridge. This allows users to trade mETH on Mirror or send it to Ethereum to trade on platforms like Uniswap.
