Welcome to DropsTab
DropsTab is a crypto market-intelligence platform that ranks projects by market cap and layers in the context investors actually use. Beyond the list, it connects token mechanics and market data with signals like vesting and token unlock schedules, fundraising and investor backing, accumulation patterns, activities, and public portfolios—so you can compare projects as systems, not just tickers.
Most traders end up stitching insights from a number of different tools and a messy feed. DropsTab was built to put the important data in one place, so decisions come from incentives and structure, not guesswork.
Crypto prices, market data, and the context behind them
Market cap rankings are useful for structure, but they’re only the entry layer. DropsTab is designed to take you from “what’s big” to “what’s happening under the hood,” using built-in pathways like Tabs (custom scanners), Accumulation Phase signals, vesting and token unlock views, fundraising and investor context, and an Activities feed for events and opportunities.
For charting, DropsTab uses its own native charts and TradingView-powered visuals so price history and market structure can be read alongside the platform’s token and investor data.
How does DropsTab source and maintain crypto data?
DropsTab’s approach is “market data + verification + structure.” Beyond price updates, we track project information, fundraising, and token supply events (like vesting and unlock schedules), and update non-price information when sources are verifiable or when projects/users request corrections.
A key difference versus generic trackers is the emphasis on interpretable data layers—so a market-cap number can be read in the context of dilution risk, investor incentives, and market behavior rather than as a standalone metric.
How does DropsTab handle “listed” assets and trading status?
Not every crypto project is in the same lifecycle stage, so DropsTab distinguishes between assets that are currently trading, not yet trading (ICOs/IDOs/possible airdrops), or scam projects. This is useful when you’re scanning projects and want to separate liquid markets from early-stage entries or inactive listings.
DropsTab in multiple languages and currencies
On one hand, DropsTab supports 12 languages to ensure users can access the platform in their preferred language. This includes proper localization of crypto-specific terminology, which helps improve clarity and understanding.
On the other hand, DropsTab also supports multiple currency options, such as USD, BTC, SOL, and many others. This significantly improves usability, as users may be accustomed to different fiat and crypto denominations.
What is crypto market cap?
Crypto market cap is the estimated total value of a token’s circulating supply. In plain terms, it’s commonly understood as circulating supply multiplied by the token price. Investors use market cap because it’s a standardized way to compare crypto projects with very different supplies—so you don’t get fooled by a low unit price that actually represents a large valuation.
How to compare market cap and FDV
Market cap reflects what’s circulating today; FDV is the “fully unlocked” valuation view. The gap matters in crypto because supply often enters the market over time via vesting and token unlock schedules. A big spread isn’t automatically bad, but it’s a clear prompt: check who receives future supply and how fast it unlocks, because that’s where pressure tends to show up.
How are cryptocurrencies ranked and listed on DropsTab?
On the homepage, projects are ranked by market cap to provide a clear overview of market structure.
For coverage, DropsTab offers a listing request form so projects can submit information for inclusion and accuracy improvements. Therefore, if your project isn’t on DropsTab yet, make sure to submit an application via this form: coin listing form.
What are altcoins, coins, and tokens?
Altcoins generally mean “everything that isn’t Bitcoin.” They can be coins (native assets of a blockchain) or tokens (assets issued on top of an existing chain). Altcoins also span types like stablecoins (pegged assets), governance tokens (voting/parameters), and many sector-specific tokens—so the category matters when you’re comparing projects that look similar by market cap but behave differently in practice.
Do more with DropsTab
If you’re new, DropsTab’s beginner-friendly articles are meant to teach the “why” behind moves—how to read accumulation, unlock risk, fundraising incentives, and activity pipelines without relying on noise.
If you’re an active investor, the platform’s workflow centers on Tabs (custom scanners), Accumulation Phase, Vesting/Unlocks, Fundraising + Investors, Activities, and Public Portfolios—so you can track strategies and incentives using real data instead of screenshots.
If you’re a builder or analyst, the DropsTab API provides market data (live + historical) alongside tokenomics datasets like unlock schedules, funding rounds, and investor analytics via REST endpoints.
A quick note on safety and risk
DropsTab is a data and portfolio intelligence layer, not a custodian—so it doesn’t hold funds and it can’t “unlock” money for you. And like any crypto market data page, this isn’t investment advice: prices and valuations move, and risk is real. Treat any message asking for seed phrases, fees, or “dormant balances” as a scam attempt.
